Three ways we can work together
In our one-on-one sessions, we'll figure out how your brain works, find strategies that fit, and build from there. No two people get the same approach.
My presentations make brain science feel personal, not academic. People leave with a new understanding of themselves and a place to start.
Interactive group sessions for kids and adults built around doing, not just listening. Everyone walks away with tools and strategies they can try the very next day.
You know the feeling
When your brain won't cooperate, even simple things feel impossible. Executive function skills affect both what's happening inside and what shows up on the outside.
When it’s hard on the inside
Emotional Regulation
"A small setback derails your afternoon. Then you're mad at yourself."
Flexible Thinking
"If Plan A fails or stalls, it's hard to regroup. Everything feels like it's over."
Self-Awareness
"You don't know why everything feels this hard. You just know that it does."
When it shows up on the outside
Planning & Prioritizing
"10 things to do and you don’t know where to start. So nothing gets done."
Time Management
"You were sure that it would only take 20 minutes. It's been an hour."
Task Initiation
"You've been thinking about starting it all day but still haven't. Sound familiar?"
EXECUTIVE FUNCTION SKILLS ALSO INCLUDE
Who I work with
Students
High school seniors & college students
Whether you're heading to college or already there, the jump from "someone will remind me" to "figure it out yourself" is real. We work on the skills that make that jump feel less overwhelming.
Adults
Professionals, parents & self-starters
Maybe you got diagnosed recently or you've always known something was off. Either way, you're done white-knuckling through every week and ready to try something that actually fits how your brain works.
Organizations
Companies, community groups & conferences
Workshops and talks that provide practical tools and a new perspective on how people work best. Whether it's a school, a company, or a conference, give your people education and strategies they'll actually use.
A free intro call. You tell me what's going on, I ask questions, and we figure out if working together makes sense. (If coaching with me isn't the right fit, I'll let you know that too.)
We talk.
Weekly sessions where we explore how your brain works, tailor tools and strategies to fit your needs, and find what works. We'll focus on short and long-term goals and adjust as we go.
We build your toolkit.
Take the wheel, when you’re ready.
Sessions will space out over time, and when you feel ready, you'll start handling things on your own. That's the whole point. You don't need me forever, and that's exactly how it should be.
"Understanding how your brain works changes the way you talk to yourself. That's where everything starts."
- Hannah Choi
Why I’m passionate about this
I got into this work because I needed it myself. I have ADHD, and I spent years figuring out how to work with my brain instead of against it. I get what it feels like because I've lived it. The frustration, the self-doubt, the wondering why everything seems easier for everyone else. Now that's what I help other people do.
I also co-host a podcast, I Think I Can Be Happier, with my friend and fellow executive function coach, Amy McDuffie. I’m a mom of two teenagers, and someone who writes all her errands down and still forgets to get milk from the grocery store.
Therapists, counselors, and schools: I welcome referrals and I'm happy to coordinate care.
